Drive the xAI Grok CLI (`grok`) reliably from a script — headless research, code review, autonomous edits, and schema-constrained JSON output. Use this whenever the user wants to "ask grok", "use grok", get Grok's opinion or a second review, run `grok` / `grok -p` non-interactively, pick its model or reasoning effort, run it read-only, let it edit files unattended, or resume a grok session. Reach for it ESPECIALLY when a scripted `grok` call misbehaves — it documents the traps that silently ruin automated runs (a blocked tool call that still exits 0 with empty output, concatenated JSON under --json-schema, stdin being ignored) and bundles a wrapper that handles them. Grok is the right pick when you need structured JSON back, live web search, or a fast/cheap third opinion alongside Claude.
