This workflow sends a OpenAI GPT reply when an email is received from specific email recipients. It then saves the initial email and the GPT response to an automatically generated Google spreadsheet. Subsequent GPT responses will be added to the same spreadsheet. Additionally, when feedback is given for any of the GPT responses, it will be recorded to the spreasheet, which can then be used later to fine-tune the GPT model. Prerequisites OpenAI credentials Google credentials How it works This workflow is essentially a two-in-one workflow. It triggers off from two different nodes and have very different functionality from each trigger. The flow triggered from On email received node is as follows: Triggers off on the On email received node. Extract the email body from the email. Generate a response from the email body using the OpenAI node. Reply to the email sender using the Send reply to recipient node. A feedback link is also included in the email body which will trigger the On feedback given node. This is used to fine-tune the GPT model. Save the email body and OpenAI response to a Google Sheet. If a sheet does not exist, it will be created. The flow triggered from On feedback given node is as follows: Triggers off when a feedback link is clicked in the emailed GPT response. The feedback, either positive or negative, for that specific GPT response is then recorded to the Google Sheet. An n8n automation workflow template by n8n Team.

This workflow reads PDF textual content and sends the text to OpenAI. Attachments of interest will then be uploaded to a specified Google Drive folder. For example, you may wish to send invoices received from an email to an inbox folder in Google Drive for later processing. This workflow has been designed to easily change the search term to match your needs. See the workflow for more details. Prerequisites OpenAI credentials. Google credentials. How it works Triggers off on the On email received node. Iterates over the attachments in the email. Uses the OpenAI node to filter out the attachments that do not match the search term set in the Configure node. You could match on various PDF files (i.e. invoice, receipt, or contract). If the PDF attachment matches the search term, the workflow uses the Google Drive node to upload the PDF attachment to a specific Google Drive folder. An n8n automation workflow template by n8n Team.

This workflow digests mentions of n8n on Reddit that can be sent as an single email or Slack summary each week. We use OpenAI to classify if a specific Reddit post is really about n8n or not, and then the summarise it into a bullet point sentence. How it works Get posts from Reddit that might be about n8n; Filter for the most relevant posts (posted in last 7 days and more than 5 upvotes and is original content); Check if the post is actually about n8n; If it is, categorise with OpenAI. Bear in mind: Workflow only considers first 500 characters of each reddit post. So if n8n is mentioned after this amount, it won't register as being a post about n8n.io. Next steps Improve OpenAI Summary node prompt to return cleaner summaries; Extend to more platforms/sources - e.g. it would be really cool to monitor larger Slack communities in this way; Do some classification on type of user to highlight users likely to be in our ICP; Separate a list of data sources (reddit, twitter, slack, discord etc.), extract messages from there and have them go to a sub workflow for classification and summarisation. This workflow pushes Stripe charges to HubSpot contacts. It uses the Stripe API to get all charges and the HubSpot API to update the contacts. The workflow will create a new HubSpot property to store the total amount charged. If the property already exists, it will update the property. Prerequisites Stripe credentials. HubSpot credentials. How it works On a schedule, check if the property exists in HubSpot. If it doesn't exist, create it. The default schedule is once a day at midnight. Once property is acertained, the first Stripe node gets all charges. Once the charges are returned, the second Stripe node gets extra customer information. Once the customer information is returned, Merge data node will merge the customer information with the charges so that the next node Aggregate totals can calculate the total amount charged per contact. Once we have the total amount charged per contact, the Create or update customer node will create a new HubSpot contact if it doesn't exist or update the contact if it does exist with the total amount charged. This is a workflow that might come handy after using loops. They usually leave you with items spread across different "runs". The Code node in this example workflow merges them into a single run, so you have a single list of items which is often easier to work with. Simply adjust the node name inside the Code node as needed. The idea is based on this older workflow template. An n8n automation workflow template by Tom.

This workflow shows a low code approach to parsing an XML file and storing its contents in a Google Sheets spreadsheet. To run the workflow: Make sure you are running n8n 0.197 or newer Have n8n authenticated with Google Sheets How it's done: This workflow first downloads an example file using the HTTP Request node and reads this file using the XML node. It then runs the Item Lists node to split out the individual food items from the example file. It then splits up the workflow into a separate branch creating a new spreadsheet file using the Google Sheets node. To read the column names we're using the Object.keys() method inside a Set node. Once the spreadsheet is created (the workflow waits for this using the Merge node), the data is appended to the newly created sheet (again using the Google Sheets node). Pipedrive node then searches for the requester. HTTP Request node gets owner information of Pipedrive contact. Set nodes keep only the requester owner's email and the agent`s email and id. Merge by key node merges the information and adds the contact owner to ticket data. Zendesk node changes the assignee to the Pipedrive contact owner or adds a note if the requester is not found. The Function Item node sets the new last execution timestamp. An n8n automation workflow template by n8n Team.

This workflow syncs Shopify customers to your HubSpot account as contacts. Whenever somebody makes a purchase on Shopify, it automatically adds them as a new customer to your Hubspot account if the customer doesn’t exist yet. Also, this workflow creates or updates contacts from new paid orders on Shopify by adding the amount and order close date of the deal. Prerequisites Shopify account and Shopify credentials HubSpot account and HubSpot credentials How it works Shopify trigger starts the workflow whenever an order is updated. HubSpot node creates or updates the contact who made the order update. Set node sorts and passes only the userid. Merge node merges data of both inputs, the order and the customer. Hubspot node looks up if the order already exists. If node splits the workflow conditionally, based on data received. If the order is new, the new deal is created in the Hubspot node. This workflow syncs your GitHub issues to your Notion database. Whenever a new issue is opened in your GitHub repository, it will be shown in your Notion database, syncing the status property (opened/edited/closed/deleted). In case there’s no Notion database existing yet, a new one will be created automatically. Prerequisites Notion account and Notion credentials GitHub account and GitHub credentials How it works Github trigger starts the workflow when a new issue is created in a GitHub repository. If node splits the workflow conditionally, showing whether the issue is new or an update of an existing issue. If data is new, the Notion node will create a new database page in Notion. If the data is not new, the Function node will create a Notion filter that will find its specific database page by issue ID. Switch node will then conditionally route the data into the appropriate Notion page, based on the update made upon it. An n8n automation workflow template by n8n Team.

This workflow builds a valid RSS feed (which is an XML feed under the hood) for ARD Audiothek podcasts. This allows you to subscribe to such podcasts using your favourite podcatcher without using the ARD Audiothek app. The example builds a feed for Kalk & Welk, but the workflow can be easily adjusted by providing another podcast URL on the Get overview page HTTP Request node. To subscribe to the feed, active your n8n workflow and then use the Production URL from the intitial Feed Webhook node in your podcatcher. I've tested the resulting feed using Pocket Casts... ...and Miniflux: When using Miniflux, you can add your feed via this page to your account. Make sure you select Private when doing so to avoid sharing your n8n instance with the world. The resulting feed passes the W3C Feed Validation Service: The workflow can also be used as a foundation to free other podcasts from propriertary big media platforms, though not all of them will be as simple to deal with as the ARD Audiothek. This workflow shows a no code approach to creating Salesforce accounts and contacts based on data coming from an Excel file. For Excel 365 (the online version of Microsoft Excel) check out this workflow instead. To run the workflow: Make sure your Salesforce account is authenticated with n8n. Have a Microsoft Excel workbook with contacts and their account names ready. The workflow uses this example file, but you probably want to use your own data instead. Hit the Execute Workflow button at the bottom of the n8n canvas. Here is how it works: The workflow first searches for existing Salesforce accounts by name. It then branches out depending on whether the account already exists in Salesforce or not. If an account does not exist yet, it will be created. The data is then normalised before both branches converge again. Finally the contacts are created or updated as needed in Salesforce. An n8n automation workflow template by Tom.

Disclaimer: This template contains a community node and therefore only works for n8n self-hosted users== This is Miquel from Aprende n8n and Automate with n8n. We have created a new community node Document Generator that generates dynamic content using templates. You can compose complex content with no SETs or FUNCTION ITEMs nodes using this node, like: Send one email with a list of items in the body (i.e., one email with the last entries of an RSS feed). Send one email per item (i.e., one invoice per email). Emails are just a sample. You can create complex dynamic content to: Send messages to Telegram/Slack. Create WordPress entries. Create HTML pages for your website. Create tickets. And more! The sky is your limit ;) If you want to use this workflow, install the community node n8n-nodes-document-generator from Settings > Community nodes. Type "n8n-nodes-document-generator", check "I understand the risks..." and click on "Install": Later, copy and paste this workflow into your n8n. You will get this workflow: This workflow uses the Customer Datastore node to generate sample input items. You can render one template with all items (enable "Render All Items with One Template"): or one template per input item: Visit the oficial NPM page to see more samples. Learning n8n by yourself is nice, but a bit tricky :) We offer n8n training video courses at Aprende n8n. If you need custom trainings, let us know. Additionally, you can contact us at Automate with n8n if you need the next services: Custom installations. Custom nodes. Monitor and alarms. Delegate 12/5 or 24/7 workflow issue resolutions. Automated backups of your workflows. HTTP integrations of non-supported APIs. Complex workflows. I hope you will enjoy this new node and this workflow. Automate your life! Automate it with n8n!. This workflow gets leads' contacts from a CSV file and adds it to the Pipedrive CRM by creating an organization and a person. The CSV file in this workflow serves as a universal connector allowing you to export contacts from any platform like LinkedIn, Facebook, etc. Prerequisites Google account and Google credentials Pipedrive account and Pipedrive credentials How it works The Google Drive Trigger node starts the workflow when a new CSV file is uploaded to a specific folder in Google Drive. Google Drive node downloads the CSV file. Spreadsheet File node reads data from the CSV file and sends the output to the Merge node. This Spreadsheet File's output becomes the input 1 for the Merge node. Meanwhile, the Pipedrive node gets the same list of contacts from the CSV file. IF node checks if Pipedrive has these contacts already created previously and sends the checked results to the Merge node. These results arrive at the Merge node as input 2. Merge node compares two inputs via email and removes the matches. Pipedrive node creates new contacts based on the data provided by the Merge node with necessary details such as organization and notes. An n8n automation workflow template by n8n Team.

This workflow uses a number of technologies to track the value of ETFs, stocks and other exchange-traded products: Baserow: To keep track of our investments n8n’s Cron node: To trigger the workflow compiling our daily morning briefing Webscraping: The HTTP Request & HTML Extract nodes to fetch up-to-date prices from the relevant stock exchange and structure this infromation Javascript: We’ll use the Function node to build a custom HTML body with all the relevant information Sendgrid: The Email Service Provider in this workflow to send out our email Thanks to n8n, the steps in this workflow can easily be changed. Not a Sendgrid user? Simply remove the Sendgrid node and add a Gmail node instead. The stock exchange has a REST API? Just throw away the HTML Extract node. Here’s how it works: Data Source In this scenario, our data source is Baserow. In our table, we’ll track all information needed to identify each investment product: We have two text type columns (Name and ISIN) as well as two number type columns (Count and Purchase Price). Workflow Nodes 1. Cron The Cron node will trigger our workflow to run each work day in the morning hours. 2. Baserow The Baserow node will fetch our investments from the database table shown above. 3. HTTP Request Using the HTTP Request node we can fetch live data from the stock exchange of our choice based on the ISIN. This example uses Tradegate, which is used by many German fintechs. The basic approach should also work for other exchanges, as long as they provide the required data to the public. 4. HTML Extract Since our HTTP Request node fetches full websites, we’re using the HTML Extract node to extract the information we’re looking for from each website. If an exchange other than Tradegate is used, the selectors used in this node will most likely need to be updated. 5. + 6. Set The Set nodes helps with setting the exact columns we’ll use in our table. In this case we’re first formatting the results from our exchange, then calculate the changes based on the purchase price. 7. Function Here were using a bit of Javascript magic to build an HTML email. This is where any changes to the email content would have to be made. 8. Sendgrid Finally we send out the email built in the previous step. This is where you can configure sender and recipients. Result The basic email generated by this workflow will look like so:.
