Automate Web Research with GPT-4, Claude & Apify for Content Analysis and Insights
Live

By Peter Zendzian

This n8n template demonstrates how to automate comprehensive web research using multiple AI models to find, analyze, and extract insights from authoritative sources. Use cases are many: Try automating competitive analysis research, finding latest regulatory guidance from official sources, gathering authoritative content for reports, or conducting market research on industry developments! Good to know Each research query typically costs $0.08-$0.34 depending on the number of sources found and processed. The workflow includes smart filtering to minimize unnecessary API calls. The workflow requires multiple AI services and may need additional setup time compared to simpler templates. Qdrant storage is optional and can be removed without affecting performance. How it works Your research question gets transformed into optimized Google search queries that target authoritative sources while filtering out low-quality sites. Apify's RAG Web Browser scrapes the content and converts pages to clean markdown format. Claude Sonnet 4 evaluates each article for relevance and quality before full processing. Articles that pass the filter get analyzed in parallel - one pipeline creates focused summaries while another extracts specific claims and evidence. GPT-4.1 Mini ranks all findings and presents the top 3 most valuable insights and summaries. All processed content gets stored in your Qdrant vector database to prevent duplicate processing and enable future reference. How to use The manual trigger node is used as an example but feel free to replace this with other triggers such as webhook, form submissions, or scheduled research. You can modify the configuration variables in the Set Node to customize Qdrant URLs, collection names, and quality thresholds for your specific needs. Requirements OpenAI API account for GPT-4.1 Mini (query optimization, summarization, ranking) Anthropic API account for Claude Sonnet 4 (content filtering) Apify account for web scraping capabilities Qdrant vector database instance (local or cloud) Ollama with nomic-embed-text model for embeddings Customizing this workflow Web research automation can be adapted for many specialized use cases. Try focusing on specific domains like legal research (targeting .gov and .edu sites), medical research (PubMed and health authorities), or financial analysis (SEC filings and analyst reports). Create Structured XML System Messages for AI Agents with Claude 4 Sonnet
Live

By Paul

Agent XML System Message Engineering: Enabling Robust Enterprise Integration and Automation Why Creating System Messages in XML Is Important XML (Extensible Markup Language) engineering is a foundational technique in modern software and system architecture. It enables the structured creation, storage, and exchange of messages—such as system instructions, configuration, or logs—by providing a human-readable, platform-independent, and machine-processable format. Here’s why this matters and how big tech companies leverage it: Importance of XML in Engineering Standardization & Interoperability:** XML provides a consistent way to model and exchange data between different software components, no matter the underlying technology. This enables seamless integration of diverse systems, both internally within companies and externally across partners or clients. Traceability & Accountability:** By capturing not only the data but also its context (e.g., source, format, transformation steps), XML enables engineers to trace logic, troubleshoot issues, and ensure regulatory compliance. This is particularly crucial in sectors like finance, healthcare, and engineering where audit trails and documentation are mandatory. Configuration & Flexibility:** XML files are widely used for application settings. The clear hierarchical structure allows easy updates, quick testing of setups, and management of complex configurations—without deep developer intervention. Reusability & Automation:** Automating the creation of system messages or logs in XML allows organizations to reuse and adapt those messages for various systems or processes, reducing manual effort, errors, and improving scalability. How Big Tech Companies Use XML System Integration and Messaging:** Large enterprises including Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and SAP use XML for encoding, transporting, and processing data between distributed systems via web services (such as SOAP and REST APIs), often at web scale. Business Process Automation:** In supply chain management, e-commerce, and transactional processing, XML enables rapid, secure, and traceable information exchange—helping automate operations that cross organizational and geographical borders. Content Management & Transformation:** Companies use XML to manage and deliver dynamic content—such as translations, different document layouts, or multi-channel publishing—by separating data from its presentation and enabling real-time transformations through XSLT or similar technologies. Data Storage, Validation, and Big Data:** XML’s schema definitions (XSD) and well-defined structure are used by enterprises for validating and storing data models, supporting compatibility and quality across complex systems, including big data applications. Why XML System Message Engineering Remains Relevant > “XML is currently the most sophisticated format for distributed data — the World Wide Web can be seen as one huge XML database... Rapid adoption by industry [reinforces] that XML is no longer optional.” It brings consistency, scalability, and reliability to how software communicates, making development faster and systems more robust. Enterprises continue to use XML alongside newer formats (like JSON) wherever rich validation, structured messaging, and backward compatibility with legacy systems are required. In summary: XML engineering empowers organizations, especially tech giants, to build, scale, and manage complex digital ecosystems by facilitating integration, automation, traceability, and standardization of data and messages across their platforms, operations, and partners. By Matthew

Automated Cold Email Personalization This workflow automates the creation of highly personalized cold outreach emails by extracting lead data, scraping company websites, and leveraging AI to craft unique email components. This is ideal for sales teams, marketers, and business development professionals looking to scale their outreach efforts while maintaining a high degree of personalization. How It Works Generate Batches: The workflow starts by generating a sequence of numbers, defining how many leads to process in batches. Scrape Lead Data: It uses an external API (Apify) to pull comprehensive lead information, including contact details, company data, and social media links. Fetch Client Data: The workflow then retrieves relevant client details from your Google Sheet based on the scraped data. Scrape Company Website: The lead's company website is automatically scraped to gather content for personalization. Summarize Prospect Data: An OpenAI model analyzes both the scraped website content and the individual's profile data to create concise summaries and identify unique angles for outreach. Craft Personalized Email: A more advanced OpenAI model uses these summaries and specific instructions to generate the "icebreaker," "intro," and "value proposition" components of a personalized cold email. Update Google Sheet: Finally, these generated email components are saved back into your Google Sheet, enriching your lead records for future outreach. Google Sheet Structure Your Google Sheet must have the following exact column headers to ensure proper data flow: Email** (unique identifier for each lead) Full Name** Headline** LinkdIn** cityName** stateName** company/cityName** Country** Company Name** Website** company/businessIndustry** Keywords** icebreaker** (will be populated by the workflow) intro** (will be populated by the workflow) value\_prop** (will be populated by the workflow) Setup Instructions Add Credentials: In n8n, add your OpenAI API key via the Credentials menu. Personalized Lead Nurturing with GPT-4.1 Based on Commitment Scoring via Google Sheets
Live

By Matthew

AI-Powered Personalized Email Nurturing This workflow automates sending tailored onboarding and follow-up emails based on lead commitment levels. It's designed for coaches, consultants, and service-based businesses who want to personalize their outreach and nurture prospects more effectively. How It Works Triggered by New Data: The workflow automatically starts whenever a new row is added to your specified Google Sheet. Assess Commitment: An If node checks the "Commitment" score from your Google Sheet data. If the commitment score is 8 or higher, the lead is considered "warm" and receives a detailed onboarding email. If the commitment score is below 8, the lead is considered "colder" and receives a gentle nudge email. Craft Warm Email (for high commitment): For "warm" leads, an OpenAI node generates an aspirational and confident first-touch email. This email highlights their goals, introduces your flagship offers, and invites them to a 30-minute discovery call. Craft Colder Email (for lower commitment): For "colder" leads, a different OpenAI node generates an encouraging, non-pushy follow-up email. This email thanks them for sharing their goals, reinspires them with the ROI of personal branding, asks a reflective question, and offers a no-pressure Q&A session. Send Emails: The appropriate Gmail node sends the personalized email to the lead. Record Activity: Finally, the Google Sheets node appends the lead's information and details of the sent email to a separate "Contacts" sheet, keeping a clear record of all interactions. Google Sheet Structure Your primary Google Sheet (the one triggering the workflow) must have the following exact column headers: Email** First name** Last name** Phone number** Industry** Title** Three goals you wish to achieve this year** 1-10 how commited are you to your goals** Your secondary Google Sheet (for appending contacts) must have these exact column headers: name** email** phone** industry** title** three goals** commitment** Setup Instructions Add Credentials: In n8n, add your OpenAI API key via the Credentials menu. Connect your Google account via the Credentials menu for Google Sheets and Gmail access. Configure Google Sheets Trigger: Select the Google Sheets Trigger node. Choose your Google Sheets credential, select your spreadsheet, and the specific sheet name that contains your incoming lead data. Configure Commitment Logic: Select the Commitment ≥ 8? If node. The condition is set to ={{ $json['1-10 how commited are you to your goals'] }} >= 8. Ensure your Google Sheet column name for commitment matches exactly, including spacing and capitalization. Configure OpenAI Nodes: Select both crafting warmer email and crafting colder email nodes. Choose your OpenAI credential from the dropdown. Crucially: In both nodes' Messages section, replace placeholder information with your actual company name, founder name, and any specific details about your flagship offers and booking links (https://calendly.com/brandied/discovery). Configure Gmail Nodes: Select both Send warmer email and Send colder email nodes. Choose your Gmail credential. Configure Append Row in Sheet: Select the Append row in sheet node. Choose your Google Sheets credential, select the spreadsheet and sheet name where you want to log sent emails (your "Contacts" sheet). Verify that the column mappings correctly align with the "Google Sheet Structure" for your secondary sheet. Customization Options 💡 Commitment Threshold: Adjust the number in the **Commitment ≥ 8? If node to change what constitutes a "warm" lead (e.g., gte 7 for a commitment score of 7 or higher). Email Content & Tone: Modify the prompts in the **crafting warmer email and crafting colder email OpenAI nodes to fine-tune the email tone, length, specific calls to action, or any other elements to better suit your brand voice and strategy. Follow-Up Cadence: Instead of immediate sending, you could introduce a **Wait node after the email crafting to space out follow-ups or integrate with an email sequence tool. CRM Integration: Replace the final **Google Sheets node with an integration to your CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to automatically log these interactions and enrich lead profiles directly within your CRM. Document Q&A System with Voyage-Context-3 Embeddings and MongoDB Atlas
Live

By Jimleuk

On my never-ending quest to find the best embeddings model, I was intrigued to come across Voyage-Context-3 by MongoDB and was excited to give it a try. This template implements the embedding model on a Arxiv research paper and stores the results in a Vector store. It was only fitting to use Mongo Atlas from the same parent company. This template also includes a RAG-based Q&A agent which taps into the vector store as a test to helps qualify if the embeddings are any good and if this is even noticeable. How it works This template is split into 2 parts. The first part being the import of a research document which is then chunked and embedded into our vector store. The second part builds a RAG-based Q&A agent to test the vector store retrieval on the research paper. Read the steps for more details. How to use First ensure you create a Voyage account voyageai.com and a MongoDB database ready. Start with Step 1 and fill in the "Set Variables" node and Click on the Manual Execute Trigger. This will take care of populating the vector store with the research paper. To use the Q&A agent, it is required to publish the workflow to access the public chat interface. This is because "Respond to Chat" works best in this mode and not in editor mode. To use for your own document, edit the "Set Variables" node to define the URL to your own document. This embeddings approach should work best on larger documents. Requirements Voyageai.com account for embeddings. You may need to add credit to get a reasonable RPM for this workflow. MongoDB database either self-hosted or online at https://www.mongodb.com. OpenAI account for RAG Q&A agent. Customising this workflow The Voyage embeddings work with any vector store so feel free to swap out to other such as Qdrant or Pinecone if you're not a fan of MongoDB Atlas. If you're feeling brave, instead of the 3 sequential pages setup I have, why not try the whole document! Fair warning that you may hit memory problems if your instance isn't sufficiently sized - but if it is, go head and share the results!. An n8n automation workflow template by Jimleuk.

Create Custom Reasoning Patterns for AI Agents with GraphRAG & Knowledge Ontology
Live

By InfraNodus

Teach your AI agent HOW to think, not WHAT to think This workflow demonstrates how you can build an AI agent in n8n that uses the reasoning logic you define. So an LLM learns a way of thinking, which you can then apply to multiple problems: Make an AI chatbot that knows how to convince anybody using the "Getting to Yes" method Build an LLM workflow that uses Ray Dalio's principles to spot investment opportunities Create an AI agent crew of interdisciplinary thinkers: e.g. a specialist in psychology who gives an advice on education programmes. How it works This template uses the n8n AI agent node as an orchestrating agent that has access to a certain reasoning logic defined by an InfraNodus knowledge graph. This graph contains a list of reasoning rules (ontology), which is extracted to provide an advice that is relevant to the original prompt. It uses GraphRAG under the hood to traverse the parts of the graph relevant to the query. This advice and the reasoning logic extracted is then used by the AI agent to generate a response that is relevant to the user's query but that uses the reasoning logic provided through the graph. Here's a description step by step: The user submits a question using the AI chatbot (n8n interface, in this case, a web form that can be embedded to any website, or a webhook that can be connected to a Telegram / WhatsApp bot) The AI agent node accesses the Reasoning Logic HTTP InfraNodus nodes. The description of AI agent and the description of the reasoning InfraNodus node provides the agent with an understanding of how to rephrase the original question to retrieve relevant reasoning logic. The request is sent to the InfraNodus node. It provides a response that contains the reasoning logic needed to answer the question. This reasoning logic is then sent back to an LLM along with the original query to produce the response. InfraNodus uses GraphRAG under the hood: convert user query into graph find the overlap with the reasoning graph (using n=1 or more hops to include more relations) use similarity search to get additional parts of the graph generate a response based on this intersection as well as the context provided provide information about the underlying structure How to use You need an InfraNodus account to use this workflow. Create an InfraNodus account Get the API key at https://infranodus.com/api-access and create a Bearer authorization key for the InfraNodus HTTP nodes. Create a separate knowledge graph for the reasoning logic Use the AI ontology creator to generate an ontology for a certain topic or text using AI. Then augment it with your own data. See our help article on creating ontologies for detailed instructions For each graph, go to the workflow, paste the name of the graph into the request JSON body name field. Change the system prompt in the AI agent node to reflect the nature of your reasoning logic. For instance, if it's an expert in interactions, you specify that, if it's a psychology expert, you need to specify that as well. Change the description of the reasoning node (HTTP tool). Use the InfraNodus summary and Project Notes > RAG prompt buttons to generate a description for the reasoning logic, which you can then reuse in your workflow. add the LLM key to the OpenAI node (or to the model of your choice) and launch the workflow Requirements An InfraNodus account and API key An OpenAI (or any other LLM) API key Customizing this workflow You can use this same workflow with a Telegram bot, so you can interact with it using Telegram. There are many more customizations available. Check out the complete guide at https://support.noduslabs.com/hc/en-us/articles/21429518472988-Using-Knowledge-Graphs-as-Reasoning-Experts Also check out the video tutorial with a demo:. Monitor Remote Server File Integrity with SSH and Slack Alerts
Live

By Marth - Business Automation

How It Works: The 5-Node Security Flow This workflow efficiently performs a scheduled file integrity audit. 1. Scheduled Check (Cron Node) This is the workflow's trigger. It schedules the workflow to run at a specific, regular interval. Function:** Continuously runs on a set schedule, for example, daily at 3:00 AM. Process:** The Cron node automatically initiates the workflow on its schedule, ensuring consistent file integrity checks without manual intervention. 2. List Files & Checksums (Code Node) This node acts as your static database, defining which files to monitor and their known-good checksums. Function:** Stores the file paths and their verified checksums in a single, easy-to-update array. Process:** It configures the file paths and their valid checksums, which are then passed on to subsequent nodes for processing. 3. Get Remote File Checksum (SSH Node) This node connects to your remote server to get the current checksum of the file being monitored. Function:** Executes a command on your server via SSH. Process:** It runs a command like sha256sum /path/to/file on the server. The current checksum is then captured and passed to the next node for comparison. 4. Checksums Match? (If Node) This is the core detection logic. It compares the newly retrieved checksum from the server with the known-good checksum you stored. Function:** Compares the two checksum values. Process:* If the checksums *do not match**, it indicates a change in the file, and the workflow is routed to the notification node. If they do match, the workflow ends safely. 5. Send Alert (Slack Node) / End Workflow (No-Op Node) These nodes represent the final action of the workflow. Function:** Responds to a detected file change. Process:* If the checksums don't match, the *Slack* node sends a detailed alert with information about the modified file, the expected checksum, and the detected checksum. If the checksums match, the *No-Op** node ends the workflow without any notification. How to Set Up Implementing this essential cybersecurity monitor in your n8n instance is quick and straightforward. 1. Prepare Your Credentials & Server Before building the workflow, ensure all necessary accounts are set up and their credentials are ready. SSH Credential:* Set up an *SSH credential** in n8n with your server's hostname, port, and authentication method (e.g., private key or password). The SSH user must have permission to run sha256sum on the files you want to monitor. Slack Credential:* Set up a *Slack credential* in n8n and note the *Channel ID** of your security alert channel (e.g., #security-alerts). Get Checksums:* *This is a critical step.** Manually run the sha256sum [file_path] command on your server for each file you want to monitor. Copy and save the generated checksum values—these are the "known-good" checksums you will use as your reference. 2. Import the Workflow JSON Get the workflow structure into your n8n instance. Import:** In your n8n instance, navigate to the "Workflows" section. Click the "New" or "+" icon, then select "Import from JSON." Paste the provided JSON code into the import dialog and import the workflow. 3. Configure the Nodes Customize the imported workflow to fit your specific monitoring needs. Scheduled Check (Cron):** Set the schedule according to your preference (e.g., daily at 3:00 AM). List Files & Checksums (Code):* Open this node and *edit the filesToCheck array**. Enter your actual server file paths and paste the "known-good" checksums you manually obtained in step 1. Get Remote File Checksum (SSH):* Select your *SSH credential**. Send Alert (Slack):* Select your *Slack credential* and replace YOUR_SECURITY_ALERT_CHANNEL_ID with your actual *Channel ID**. 4. Test and Activate Verify that your workflow is working correctly before setting it live. Manual Test:** Run the workflow manually. Verify that it connects to the server and checks the files without sending an alert (assuming the files haven't changed). Verify:** To test the alert, manually change one of the files on your server and run the workflow again. Check your Slack channel to ensure the alert is sent correctly. Activate:** Once you're confident in its function, activate the workflow. n8n will now automatically audit the integrity of your critical files on the schedule you set. Build a Comprehensive Multimodal Assistant on Telegram with OpenAI, SERP and Vector Store
Live

By FabioInTech

J.A.R.V.I.S. Multimodal AI assistant on Telegram with OpenAI This workflow transforms your Telegram bot into J.A.R.V.I.S., a powerful, multimodal AI assistant. It can understand and process text, voice messages, images, and documents. The assistant can search the web, scrape websites, generate images, perform calculations, and reference uploaded documents to provide comprehensive and context-aware responses in either text or audio format. 🧑‍💻 Who’s it for This workflow is for developers, AI enthusiasts, and businesses who want to create an advanced, interactive AI assistant on Telegram. It’s perfect for automating customer support, creating a personal AI helper, or exploring the capabilities of multimodal large language models (LLMs) in a practical application. ⚙️ How it works The workflow begins when a message is received by your Telegram bot. A Switch node then directs the data based on the message type: Text:** The message is formatted and sent directly to the main AI agent. Voice:** The audio file is downloaded from Telegram and transcribed into text using the OpenAI API. Image:** The image is downloaded and analyzed by an OpenAI vision model to understand its content. Document:** The file is downloaded and its content is stored in a temporary vector store, making it searchable for the AI. The processed input is then passed to the core "J.A.R.V.I.S." Agent node. This agent uses an OpenAI model, conversational memory, and a suite of tools (Google Search, Web Scraper, Image Generator, Calculator, and the document vector store) to formulate a response. Finally, the workflow checks if the initial message was a voice note; if so, it generates an audio response. Otherwise, it sends the answer as a text message back to the user. 🛠️ How to set up Telegram: Create a Telegram Bot - Use @BotFather to create a bot and obtain your bot token; Add Telegram API credentials in n8n with your bot token to the Receive Message Trigger node and all other Telegram nodes. In the Receive Message node, enter the chatId of the user or group authorized to interact with the bot. OpenAI: Add your OpenAI API credentials to all OpenAI, AI Agent, and AI tool nodes. SerpAPI: Add your SerpAPI credentials to the Basic Google Search node to enable web search functionality. Jina AI: Add your Jina AI API key to the Setup Node - The API Key is used on the Webpage Scraper node. ✅ Requirements Telegram Bot API credentials and Bot token. OpenAI API credentials. SerpAPI API credentials. Jina.ai API credentials 🎨 How to customize the workflow Change the AI model:** You can select a different OpenAI model in the OpenAI Chat Model node (e.g., switch from gpt-4.1 to gpt-4o) or in the Analyze Image and Transcribe nodes. Modify the AI's personality:** Edit the system prompt in the J.A.R.V.I.S. Agent node to change its name, tone, instructions, or default language. Expand its tools:** Connect more tools to the J.A.R.V.I.S. Agent node to extend its capabilities, such as connecting to a database or another third-party API. Adjust the response format:** Modify the If Audio Response node to change the conditions for sending text or audio messages. For example, you could configure it to always respond with text. 💬 Need Help? Join the Discord or ask in the Forum. An n8n automation workflow template by FabioInTech.

🔧 Automated Video Generator (n8n Workflow) 🚀 Features End-to-End Video Creation from user idea or transcript AI-Powered Scriptwriting using LLMs (e.g., DeepSeek via OpenRouter) Voiceover Generation with customizable TTS voices Image Scene Generation using generative models like together.ai Clip Creation & Concatenation into a full video Dynamic Caption Generation with styling options Google Drive & Sheets Integration for asset storage and progress tracking ⚙️ How It Works User Submits Form with: Main topic or transcript Desired duration TTS voice Visual style (e.g., Pixar, Lego, Cyberpunk) Image generation provider AI generates a script: A catchy title, description, hook, full script, and CTA using a language model. Text-to-Speech (TTS): The script is turned into audio using the selected voice, with timestamped captions generated. Scene Segmentation: The script is split into 5–6 second segments for visual storyboarding. Image Prompt Creation: Each scene is converted into an image prompt in the selected style (e.g., "anime close-up of a racing car"). Image Generation: Prompts are sent to together.ai or fal.ai to generate scenes. Clip Creation: Each image is turned into a short video clip (Ken Burns-style zoom) based on script timing. Video Assembly: All clips are concatenated into a single video. Captions are overlaid using the earlier timestamps. Final Output is uploaded to Google Drive, Telegram and links are saved in Google Sheets. 🛠 Inital Setup 🗣️ 1. Set Up TTS Voice (Text-to-Speech) Run your TTS server locally using Docker. 🧰 2. Set Up NCA-Toolkit The nca-toolkit appears to be a custom video/image processing backend used via HTTP APIs: http://host.docker.internal:9090/v1/image/transform/video http://host.docker.internal:9090/v1/video/concatenate http://host.docker.internal:9090/v1/ffmpeg/compose 🔧 Steps: Clone or build the nca-toolkit container (if it's a private tool): Ensure it exposes port 9090. It should support endpoints for: Image to video (zoom effect) Video concatenation Audio + video merging Caption overlay via FFmpeg Run it locally with Docker: docker run -d -p 9090:80 your-nca-toolkit-image 🧠 3. Set Up together.ai (Image Generation) (Optional You can use ChatGPT API Instead) This handles image generation using models like FLUX.1-schnell. 🔧 Steps: Create an account at: https://www.together.ai Generate your API key. Automate Construction Site Attendance Tracking with Geofencing, Google Sheets & Email Alerts
Live

By Oneclick AI Squad

This n8n workflow automates attendance tracking for construction workers at a designated site in Thaltej, Ahmedabad (GPS coordinates: 23.0489, 72.5118). Using geofencing technology, it logs "Punch In" and "Punch Out" times when workers enter or exit a predefined 100-meter radius around the site, requiring no manual input. Attendance data is stored in Google Sheets for easy access and reporting, and error notifications are sent via email to ensure reliable operation. Good to Know Fully Automated**: Tracks attendance without worker intervention using GPS data from a mobile app. Geofence-Based**: Only logs entries/exits within the Thaltej, Ahmedabad site radius. Structured Logs**: Stores data in Google Sheets with columns for User ID, Punch Type, Punch Date, and Punch Time. Error Handling**: Sends email notifications for any issues in the workflow. Scalable**: Supports multiple workers with unique IDs sent by the GPS app. Real-Time**: Processes location updates instantly for accurate time tracking. How It Works Attendance Tracking Flow Webhook Trigger: Listens for POST requests from a GPS tracking app at the endpoint /webhook/geofence-thaltej-attendance. Expects a JSON payload with: { "latitude": 23.0489, "longitude": 72.5118, "event": "enter", // or "exit" "userId": "worker123" } Validate Geofence & Format Log: Validates the received payload for required fields (latitude, longitude, event, userId). Uses the Haversine formula to check if the coordinates are within 100 meters of Thaltej, Ahmedabad (23.0489, 72.5118). Maps event ("enter" to "in", "exit" to "out") and formats the log with current date and time (e.g., Punch Type: "in", Punch Date: "2025-08-01", Punch Time: "11:53:07"). Skips invalid or out-of-geofence data. Save to Google Sheets: Appends the formatted log to a Google Sheet in the "Attendance" tab, under columns: User ID, Punch Type, Punch Date, Punch Time. Error Notification via Email: Sends an email to a specified address if the workflow encounters errors (e.g., invalid payload or geofence mismatch). Includes error details for troubleshooting. Example Log Output in Google Sheets | User ID | Punch Type | Punch Date | Punch Time | |------------|------------|-------------|------------| | worker123 | in | 2025-08-01 | 11:53:07 | | worker123 | out | 2025-08-01 | 13:30:20 | | worker123 | in | 2025-08-01 | 13:50:21 | How to Use Import Workflow: Copy the workflow JSON (provided below) and import it into n8n via the "Import Workflow" feature. Configure GPS Tracking App: Use a GPS app (e.g., allGeo, Truein, or a custom solution) that supports geofencing and webhook integration. Set the geofence to Thaltej, Ahmedabad (latitude: 23.0489, longitude: 72.5118, radius: 100 meters). Configure the app to send POST requests to the n8n webhook URL (/webhook/geofence-thaltej-attendance) with the payload: { "latitude": 23.0489, "longitude": 72.5118, "event": "enter", // or "exit" "userId": "worker123" } Ensure the app is installed on workers’ devices and running in the background. Set Up Google Sheets: Create a Google Sheet with a tab named "Attendance". Add headers in columns A to D: User ID, Punch Type, Punch Date, Punch Time. Copy the Sheet ID from the URL (e.g., https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/[your_sheet_id]/edit). In n8n, configure Google Sheets OAuth2 credentials and update the sheetId in the workflow. Configure Email Notifications: Set up an email service (e.g., Gmail, SendGrid) in n8n with appropriate credentials. Update the email node with your recipient email address and SMTP settings. Activate Workflow: Save and activate the workflow in n8n. Test by simulating a webhook call or using the GPS app to send a sample payload. Monitor and Verify: Check Google Sheets for attendance logs after workers enter/exit the geofence. Verify error emails are received if issues occur. Requirements n8n Instance**: Self-hosted or cloud-based n8n setup. GPS Tracking App**: A mobile app or service (e.g., allGeo, Truein) that sends geofence events via webhooks. Google Sheets API**: Google Cloud project with Sheets API enabled. OAuth2 credentials configured in n8n. Email Service**: SMTP credentials for an email provider (e.g., Gmail, SendGrid). Worker Devices**: Smartphones with GPS enabled and the tracking app installed. Automate Multi-Website Google Analytics Reports with GPT Processing to Email & Slack
Live

By Guillaume

🟡 DESCRIPTION This n8n workflow automates the daily generation of comprehensive analytics reports from multiple websites, processes them using OpenAI's powerful language models, and then delivers the insights directly to your email and Slack channels. Designed for digital marketers, website administrators, and data analysts, this template streamlines the tedious process of manually collecting and interpreting website performance data, offering immediate, actionable intelligence. The core problem this workflow solves is the fragmentation and manual effort involved in monitoring numerous website analytics. Instead of logging into multiple Google Analytics accounts or properties daily, this workflow centralizes data extraction, enriches it with AI-powered summaries, and distributes it to your preferred communication platforms. This significantly reduces the time spent on routine reporting, allowing you to focus on strategy and decision-making. Users who would benefit most from this template include: Digital Marketing Agencies: Efficiently generate and share client reports across multiple properties. E-commerce Businesses: Monitor performance of various product sites or regional domains. Content Creators: Track the success of different blogs or content platforms. Anyone managing a portfolio of websites: Gain a unified view of their digital assets' performance. 🟡 SETUP Before importing and running this workflow, ensure you have the following prerequisites in place: ► Google Analytics API Setup: Go to the Google Cloud Console (https://console.cloud.google.com/). Create a new project or select an existing one. Navigate to "APIs & Services" > "Enabled APIs & services." Search for and enable the "Google Analytics Data API" (for GA4) or "Google Analytics Reporting API" (for Universal Analytics, if still in use). Go to "APIs & Services" > "Credentials." Create "OAuth client ID" credentials for a "Web application." Copy your client ID and client secret. In n8n, add a new Google Analytics credential using the "OAuth2" authentication method. Provide the Client ID and Client Secret. You will need to authorize n8n to access your Google Analytics data. Scopes https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly (read-only) or https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics (manage) OAuth Redirect URL Already pre-filled by n8n (copy this when creating the Google client) Click Sign in with Google, choose the GA account, and approve the requested scopes. Click Save – n8n tests the token and stores it encrypted. For each yourwebsite.com node, select these credentials and specify the correct Google Analytics View ID (for Universal Analytics) or Property ID (for GA4). ► Email Credentials (SMTP): In n8n, add a new SMTP credential. Provide your SMTP host, port, username, and password. This will be used to send the aggregated reports. ► Slack Credentials: In n8n, add a new Slack credential. Follow the instructions to create a Slack App and generate a Bot User OAuth Token. This token will allow n8n to post messages to your Slack channels. ► OpenAI Credentials: Sign up for an OpenAI account (https://platform.openai.com/). Generate an API Key from your account dashboard. In n8n, add a new OpenAI credential and paste your API Key. ► Website Configuration: The workflow currently includes nodes for yourwebsite.com (1 to 8). For each "Get Report" node (e.g., yourwebsite.com, yourwebsite.com 2, etc.), duplicate or remove them as needed to match the number of Google Analytics properties you wish to monitor. Replace the names and number of websites inside the report maker agent. 🟡 Usage Once you have configured the credentials, you can customize the workflow to fit your specific needs, including leveraging various alternative nodes for sending notifications and reports. This flexibility allows you to integrate seamlessly with your preferred communication tools such as Gmail, Telegram, Outlook, or any other service supported by n8n's extensive node library. Automate QuickBooks customers & sales receipts generation from a Google Sheet
Live

By Intuz

This n8n template from Intuz provides a complete and automated solution to streamline your sales and accounting process. Simply add new transaction details to a designated Google Sheet, and this workflow takes over. Using specific status keywords in a column to trigger the process, it automatically creates new customer profiles and generates sales receipts in QuickBooks. This creates a complete, end-to-end system from a simple spreadsheet entry to a formal accounting record, eliminating manual data entry. How it works This workflow streamlines the process of recording sales from a Google Sheet into QuickBooks Online, intelligently handling both new and existing customers. 1. Trigger on New Row: The workflow starts automatically whenever a new row is added to your specified Google Sheet. 2. Check for Existing Customer: It takes the customer's name from the new row and searches your QuickBooks account to see if a customer with that DisplayName already exists. 3. Conditional Logic (IF Node): Based on the search result, the workflow splits into two paths: If Customer Exists (True Path): The workflow proceeds directly to create a Sales Receipt, linking it to the existing customer's ID found in the search. If Customer Does Not Exist (False Path): The workflow first creates a new customer in QuickBooks using the name and email from the sheet. It then uses the ID of this newly created customer to generate the corresponding Sales Receipt. How to Use: Quick Start Guide Prepare your Google Sheet: Make sure you have a Google Sheet with clear headers for your sales data. The template is configured for the following columns: CustomerName, Email, Amount, and Quantity. Import the Template: Click the "Use Template" button to import the workflow into your n8n instance. Configure Google Sheet Node: Enter the Spreadsheet ID from your Google Sheet's URL. Enter the Sheet Name where your sales data is located (e.g., Sheet1). Configure the QuickBooks Nodes: Select your QuickBooks Online credential or create a new one for the "Search for Customer", "Create Receipt for EXISTING Customer", "Create New Customer", and "Create Receipt for NEW Customer" nodes. Important: In both "Create Receipt" nodes, you must provide a valid Product/Service ID from your QuickBooks account. Find this in the node parameters under Line > Sales Item Line Detail > Item Ref > Value. Activate the Workflow: Save your changes and activate the workflow. Now, every new row you add to the Google Sheet will automatically create the necessary records in QuickBooks. Key Requirements to Use Template An active n8n instance. A Google account with a prepared Google Sheet. A QuickBooks Online account. A QuickBooks Developer account to obtain the API credentials needed to connect to n8n. At least one Product or Service item set up in your QuickBooks account to be referenced in the sales receipts.
